Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you create and use a personal K9Axion account to keep your own dog training records (the "Service"). K9Axion is provided by Lanelyn Anitubo, doing business as K9Axion ("we", "us"). When you tick "I agree" to create your account (or later accept an updated version), you accept these terms, our Privacy Notice and, if you buy Pro, our Refund Policy. If you don't agree, don't create an account. If you already have one, ask us to delete it at privacy@k9axion.com.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must create the account, accept these terms for you and supervise your use.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address and password, or with your Google account. Keep your password, your Google account and your devices secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else used your K9Axion account. You're responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our breach of these terms or the law.

4. What the Service is, and isn't

K9Axion helps you record and review your dog's training: your dogs, training sessions, commands, results and notes. Any summaries or progress indicators are based only on what you enter and may be incomplete or wrong.

It isn't veterinary care, behavioural therapy, professional training or emergency help, and it doesn't guarantee any training result. Ask a veterinarian or qualified professional about your dog's health, behaviour or safety.

5. Dog safety

You're responsible for your dog and for training safely: choosing humane methods and suitable equipment, supervising children and other people, and stopping when your dog or anyone shows pain, fear, aggression, illness or fatigue. Any dog can bite, escape or be injured. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or local authorities; don't rely on the Service. Don't use the Service to record or promote cruelty or unlawful training.

6. Your content

The dogs, sessions, notes and other information you add ("your content") remain yours. You allow us to store, display, back up and secure your content only as needed to run the Service for you, keep it safe and meet legal duties. We don't use your content for advertising, and we don't sell it.

Only add information you have the right to share. Don't add other people's personal information, government ID numbers, passwords or payment details in notes.

7. Fair use

Don't break the law or anyone's rights through the Service; try to access other people's accounts or data; interfere with, overload or reverse-engineer the Service; copy or resell it without permission; or upload harmful content. We may suspend or restrict an account when needed for security, safety, legal reasons or a serious breach of these terms. Where practical, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.

8. Free and paid features

K9Axion has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan (monthly or annual). What each plan includes and the current prices are shown on the Pricing page and in the app before you pay.

Pro is sold through our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all orders; Paddle's checkout terms also apply to your purchase. Pro renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. All sales are final, except where the law requires a refund; see our Refund Policy.

If Pro ends, your dogs and training records stay and the Free plan's limits apply. We won't remove features from a plan you're paying for during the period you've paid for.

9. Changes and availability

The Service may change, have interruptions or contain errors. Keep your own copy of anything critical. We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll show the new version and ask you to accept it before you continue. If you don't accept it, stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at privacy@k9axion.com.

10. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account, after confirming. This removes your account, dogs and training records right away and signs you out on every device. What happens to backup copies is described in the Privacy Notice. You can also ask us to delete your account at privacy@k9axion.com.

11. Warranties

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular dog or purpose. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines or other laws that can't be waived.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you could have kept a copy of. Our total liability for claims about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.

These limits don't apply to fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability the law doesn't allow us to limit. You're responsible for losses you cause by deliberately misusing the Service or breaking the law.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. If we can't, disputes go to the courts of Iloilo City, without affecting your right to use small claims procedures, complain to the Department of Trade and Industry or the National Privacy Commission, or use any other forum the law guarantees.

14. General

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement about the Service. We may transfer this agreement as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale of the Service, with notice to you. We'll send notices in the app or to the email address on your account.
